Refreshments will be served. Space is limited. Reservations are required. How much help do they need and what happens when that changes? Learn about different levels of care and the various options appropriate for each level, including the associated costs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaker:<\/strong><br \/>\nLaurie T.S. Adamshick, Esq., is an elder care attorney and partner in Rulon &amp; Adamshick,<br \/>\nElder Care Law in Honolulu. For over a decade, she has focused on assisting older adults<br \/>\nand their families with the legal, financial and personal care challenges of aging. In her work,<br \/>\nshe draws on her past experience as the primary caregiver and advocate for her late parents.<br \/>\nLaurie is a Veterans Administration accredited attorney and President of the Hawaii Pacific<br \/>\nGerontological Society. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Kokua Mau.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 Walk to End Alzheimer\u2019s<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Kal\u0101kaua Gardens \u2018ohana is a proud Gold Sponsor of the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer\u02bbs at Ala Moana Regional Park (Magic Island) on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Kal\u0101kaua Gardens employees, residents, families and friends will be there for a morning of fun and fellowship as we take brief stroll around Magic Island. The opening ceremony begins at 8:30 am and the walk begins at 9:00 am.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Promise Garden Flower<\/strong><br \/>\nEach registered participant will receive a Promise Garden flower.
